Democratic vs. Republican Rhetoric
I am going to be writing about the different uses of rhetoric in the United States political parties and what their strengths and weaknesses are. I want to see which are more effective on different demographics. What do they try to appeal to the most? Emotion? Logic? What is the most effective media used pre-Internet? I will try to contain it with the 1900's or sooner. Maybe analyze the last 4 elections.

Are there consistencies among Democrat vs Republican rhetoric? This is my only concern for you. I feel like different people have used different speaking styles depending on what works for them rather than based on their party. Maybe you should just explore what styles of rhetorics have worked most effetively (and maybe as compared to what is going on in the world) rather than try to look at the differences between the two parties.
